Now it's real!

Yesterday I arrived to Oslo, Norway! After a more or less pleasant flight with norwegian airlines I picked up my baggage (a lot of baggage, a lot - lot and lot of), found the "Ut" and was in Oslo. With the "flytoget", the expresstrain to the centralstation I met Siri, my german-norwegian friend.
As we noticed that all the lockers were full and no one empty left, we had to carry all the luggage (three heavy pieces) by bus to her department. And it is a quiet nice department, very norwegian and classical wooden. We drank a coffee and ate some "Quiche" and started a little sightseeing tour on our own.

First the precious Opera with its modern architecture, a lot of glass and with the beautiful blue sky.

After a while sitting there, breezing and watching other tourists,
we decided to pass the famous "Karl Johanns Gate", the shopping mile:

A lot of protestant churches as well in there:

And the proof that it was really really the Karl Johans Gate!
We went down the streets, I took a lot of photos and Siri was constantly speeking, when we were hearing drum sounds and we discoverd that there was the Jazz Festival.

It was beautiful watching all the people, all the buildings with this blue sky and nice weather (at 25 degrees).

The National Theater where they play a lot of
norwegian and german performances as well.

And where the Norwegian King says "Hey hey"
and waves his hand to the people and his country.

And then to the beach, to the coast:
What a wonderful day. Returning to the city center we had the possibility to listin to Beethovens 9th Symphony for free at the market place (I didn't take a photo of the orchestra, there was something more important):
