a lot of food and bouldering in the middle of the city

Today I found somebody who could borrow me a hoover to clean up my mini-room. It feels gorgeous. I can walk through my room without having black feet afterwards. Also washed my bedsheets. Well, I know it is not a very interesting information for you, but days are going to be more daily boring life and I have to write something for you, don't I?
After having lunch I grabbed Ole, my norwegian bike and together we moved on to the city center Kristiansand. There I met Kati, a german student and we found a small boulderwall in the middle of the city hidden in a corner somewhere. We had a lot of fun there but it was quite high and it wasn't as that soft the bottom.

When we felt it enough "sport" for the day we pack our stuff and went to a small, naturely and cute Café and had a very milky cappuchino outside there because the weather was quite nice to stay outside and watch freaky norwegians passing by.

We decided to take a walk through the shopping miles as we discovered that norwegians close their shops on saturdays at 4pm, I was really stunned. With this few minutes left we made a small shopping tour ( shopping in norway means just watching and you just buy something when you really really need it ) through a few more or less well known shops with two letters.

Later on I visited two friends living in Roligheden (my dorm) and we agreed to meet us at 18.40 h at the main entrance to walk together (again) to the downtown towards Kristians 4th Gate, one of the other students dorm. There a great dinner took place organized by other students. So everyone was supposed to bring some food from his or her home country thus we had a lot of tasty and extraordinary food from all over the world and we got big bellies so we were "glad" that we had to go back all the way to Roligheden (a walk over 40 minutes more or less). We (like 5 persons from Germany, Switzerland, U.S. and Serbia) were in a fantastic mood, singing and laughing all the time, got home grabbed some beer and turn up again together at the beach watching the stars and the milky way.

When it started to get freezing we decided it would be better to go inside and watch "illegal" streamed movies and were discussing which one is the best webpage.

So now its like 12 am in the morning and I am not able to watch a movie anymore.

I just go to bed, because tomorrow we meet eachother again to visit the Open Air Museum where you can see the development of houses from this area through the last decades.
And after that? Climbing, yeah. Well, and studying, a bit. : )

Take care.

The crag at Tjaum is varied with both easy beginner routes and harder routes for the more experienced. It is possible to climb sport, trad, mix, technical and routes over several pitches here. If you need to borrow climbing equipment, please contact KSI in advance.

The camp is located by the sea, which gives us the opportunity for slacklining, climbing, hiking and several activites on water. Nils is planning to bring his boat, and we will borrow canoes from the local scout group. Fishing, canoing and swimming is possible activities if you do not wish to climb much.

Equipment worth bringing:

Backpack

Grimstad and norwegian stereotypes

Nach ungefähr einer halben Stunde ertönte die Käpt'n - Blaubär - Stimme unseres Teachers Nils mit der typischen Ankündigung "And now we will have our first stop to visit the house of Hamsun. You can leave your things in the bus. Hurry up." "And now back to the bus".

Schnell wieder runter - "Hurry up".

It seems that Ms. Daily Life has just arrived.

As you have seen in my last post, it is quite clear to understand that the almoust exhausting two weeks of orientation and introduction are over. My body told me last sunday to calm down and recognize that these mentioned two weeks were to much exhausting life to keep on for a daily one. However, I just want to tell you someting about the last days.
After mondays classes of literature I decided to get to know the local student gym called Spicheren as you may know now. I forced my body again for 3 and a half hours to fulfill power and condition. Running, biking, mashines, climbing, bouldern, swimming ... that in the evening's norwegian course I felt the completely shot down in my eyes and brain. I began to feel, starting the next day, that there was some laziness in my consciousness. We were mixed up with norwegian students, becoming teachers, divided in groups of five and four people. I ended up with Jenni, a very sympathic british girl from my NORSEC group and Marita and Ida. Two girls of 20 and 21. To be about to start their career. I felt so unchallenged. And this was the big mistake, I lost the interest. It was my first day here seemed to be stuffed with bad humour. My personal battle was to fight against myself and the enemy named bad humour. But hey, it was tuesday what means the weekly coffee-hour with the chaplain from university and free waffles and coffee. I found a marvellous group to chat with for a while. Anyway, the climax of this special day was a outdoor climbing at Bjørnebakken. This climbing routes and my climbing mates made my day, thank you so much!

And if you got surprised that the rock is quite beside a street,
don't wonder, in norway you're gonna find rocks simply everywhere.

And this routes where just a few blocks from the university ...

with this nice weather in september we were just fooling around and had a lot of fun.

Thank you all.

On sundays..

[At the right sight you can see our instructor Stian making pancakes]

Pero hoy, no hice nada, pero nada productivo. A ver:
Aber heute habe nichts, aber rein gar nichts produktives gemacht. Mal schauen:

3. Empezé una segunda pelicula "The five-year engagement" -
Hab den zweiten Film angefangen "Fast verheiratet" -
4. Me dormí como 3 horas
    Hab 3 Stunden geschlafen.
6. Me hice algo de comer.
Hab mir wieder was zu essen gemacht.
8. Decidí meter a baniarme.
10. Regresé y me hice otra vez de comer.
11. Espero a mis papas y los Williams!
Warte auf die Williams und meine Eltern!
12. Voy a terminar la tercera pelicula.
Werde dann wohl mal den dritten Film zuende schauen.
13......?

Un domingo de puras atracciones! Salud.
Ein Sonntag vollgestopft mit Atraktionen. Prost.
